Roisin McGuigan is a graduate of N.C.A.D. She has shown in The Paul Kane Gallery, the West Cork Arts Centre Skibereen, The Mall Galleries, London and the Malone Demesne in Belfast.
Roisín’s work has always been an ‘energetic response to the landscape’,
the combination of flat plains, layered paint, bare canvas and areas of intense activity in each work beg individual interpretation and reaction every time’. She has recently begun a series of night paintings, ‘ Colour is greatly reduced in the absence of light, but the land still exists’.
