Since graduating from the Crawford College of
Art in 2004, Wesley has worked consistently in
his practice as a painter.
In one man exhibitions held at The Paul Kane
Gallery Dublin 2007 and the Vangard Gallery
Cork 2008, Triggs paintings have made reference
to our “sprawling urban environment, such as
building projects under construction”.
The paintings are distinctive for there robust
abstract quality and layered frayed surfaces.
