Michelle Rogers is an Irish Artist who has show extensively internationally over the last few years. She had a solo show in the Museum of Modern art, Guadalajara, Mexico in April 2005. She has also had solo exhibitions in Portland Maine, Chiostro del Bramante, Rome, The Irish Arts Centre, New York, the Caelum Gallery New York.
She has been involved in several prestigious group shows including an exhibition commemorating the 10th anniversary of the massacre in Srebenica, at the U.N. Plaza in New York, and the Four by Four group exhibition in China.
In March 2007 Michelle will be having a solo show at the Track 16 gallery , Bergemot station ,Los Angeles.
Michelle is a past winner of ‘The Abbey Stained Glass Award’ at the R.H.A., a prize for the most promising new talent. She has also received many significant commissions including ‘Stepping Out’ a 16ft x 6 ft painting to celebrate the contribution and achievement of women at Queens University Belfast and an Office of Public Works commission for a portrait of President O’Dailaigh.
